- MHVc held a dinner with music at Tasca La Sell Restaurant, Pedreguer, Eastern Spain on Saturday 20th May 2017.. 62 friends and supporters attended. A great time was had and 675 Euro was raised on behalf of MHVc.

2. After 17 months of preparation our volunteers from Hornsea School and Language College – 6th form arrived in Siem Reap on Sunday 2nd July until 14th July. 14 students and 4 teachers worked with us at MHVc and at Savong NGO in the city. The volunteers were able to contrast the differences between those in the city and those in the remote countryside. During their times at MHVc they engaged in teaching in the school at all levels and created many strong bonds with the children. At the same time they constructed 3 WCs for 3 poor families, one in each of our three villages. They had raised funds back in the UK to cover these costs. The recipient families were over joyed with the results.
MHVc is forever grateful to the participation of this group and look forward to further collaborations in the future.
3. MHVc had said goodbye to Mr Chunney our C class teacher after nearly 4 years owing to increased family commitments. We are actively engaged in trying to find a replacement . For us this is always a big problem owing to our location with many people not wishing to work so far from the city. Hopefully we will be able to use volunteer support to bridge the gap. SO ANY WILLING HANDS NOW IS THE TIME TO COME TO MHVc for an experience of a lifetime as was gained by our Hornsea students.
